About the role:

Forter's Chargeback Recovery (CBR) and Dispute Management products help the world's largest merchants autonomously win back revenue lost to chargebacks. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager based in Tel Aviv to own this domain end-to-end, reporting to our Product Director, Risk Platform.

This is a unique opportunity to own a product that sits at the intersection of payments, integrations and AI transformation. You'll own the strategy and roadmap for how Forter ingests disputes from payment service providers (PSPs), builds and submits evidence, and recovers revenue for merchants. That includes our transition toward in-house dispute capabilities and a growing ecosystem of PSP integrations. You’ll work alongside Engineering and Decision Science teams in building the product capabilities, and alongside Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to bring it to market and make it land with enterprise merchants.

If you know how a chargeback moves from a cardholder's bank to a merchant's representment letter, you want to build the product that automates that entire lifecycle and you’re excited about taking your offerings to market, this role was built for you.

What you'll be doing:

• Roadmap & Strategy: Define the vision and long-term roadmap for Chargeback Recovery and Dispute Management. You'll make the hard calls on build vs. partner, automation vs. manual operations, and where to invest in improving the customer experience.
• Platform Ownership: Own the full product surface: the merchant-facing UI and experience, dispute ingestion (webhooks, APIs, batch/SFTP), dispute submission, and core capabilities like our evidence recommendation engine, automation rules, evidence API and letter generation.
• PSP Ecosystem & Orchestration: Set the strategy for how Forter connects to direct PSPs and processors to ingest and dispute chargebacks at scale.
• AI transformation: Lead the evolution of our Dispute Agent and related AI capabilities. You'll identify where multi-step AI can replace manual work for merchants and our internal teams, and translate that into features with measurable efficiency gains.
• End to End Ownership and Leadership: Own releases end-to-end: requirements, internal training, rollout, adoption monitoring, and feedback. You'll run a regular Dispute Management Product Council with GTM stakeholders to keep the field informed and feed their input back into the roadmap.
• GTM Enablement & Deal Support: Act as the primary product point of contact for Sales, Presales, Implementation, and Customer Success. You'll support complex enterprise deals from first call through go-live, help Implementation navigate tricky merchant integrations, and step in on escalations post-launch. You'll also work directly with strategic enterprise merchants through recurring product syncs.
• Documentation & Collateral: Own the product's knowledge layer, including public docs, the Help Center, internal enablement content, education courses, and implementation playbooks for both covered and uncovered/mixed merchant models. Alongside Product Marketing, you'll create one-pagers, ROI frameworks, and customer-facing presentations that make recovery value tangible to a merchant CFO.

What you'll need:

• Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the chargebacks/disputes ecosystem, ideally with time spent at or working directly with large e-commerce merchants, PSPs or dispute vendors. You understand reason codes, representment, card network programs, and you know how dispute data actually flows between issuers, acquirers, PSPs, and merchants.
• Product Ownership: 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of owning a domain end-to-end: defining roadmaps, shipping complex capabilities, and driving commercial outcomes.
• Technical & Integration Fluency: You don't need to be an engineer, but you're comfortable defining requirements for systems that talk to other systems. You understand webhooks, APIs, batch file processing, and third-party integration architectures, and you can hold your own in a technical design review.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences from across the globe. You can write a PRD for Engineering in the morning, run a merchant call in the afternoon, and present a strategy to the C-suite by end of week.
• Self-Starter Mentality: High autonomy is a feature of this role. You take initiative, prioritize ruthlessly across competing GTM and product demands, and hold yourself accountable without needing close management.

About Us:

Commerce is evolving faster than the systems built to support it. Agentic AI is redrawing how people buy. Customer expectations have a new ceiling. And bad actors are evolving alongside every advancement.

Forter was built to meet this moment — and stay ahead of it.

We are a human-first, AI-built company. Our technology analyzes patterns across a network of over 2 billion shoppers, delivering identity intelligence across the entire commerce journey — from sign-up to checkout to returns — that protects revenue and unlocks great customer experiences simultaneously. With Forter, businesses know who to trust, whether it’s humans or the agents shopping for them. The result: zero friction for the customers who matter. No revenue left behind.

The world's most trusted brands — Nordstrom, Instacart, Priceline, Adobe, ASOS, and eBay among them — rely on Forter to get this right. Since 2013, we've raised $525M from investors including Tiger Global, Bessemer, Sequoia Capital, and Salesforce Ventures, and today we power commerce decisions for nearly 1 million businesses globally. We're more than fraud, payments and orchestration – we make trust a competitive advantage.

Life as a Forterian:

Forterians are, genuinely, some of the best people you'll work with. Smart, curious, and deeply good humans who care about the work and each other. That's not an accident — it's something we've been intentional about since day one, and it's the thing people mention most when they talk about why they stay. When you're surrounded by people like this, doing work that actually matters, it changes what a job can feel like.

Forter was built on a simple but powerful conviction: when AI does its job, humans can do theirs better. That philosophy shapes our products and shapes how we work. AI is core to our workflows — not as a shortcut, but as a force multiplier that gives Forterians the space to focus their energy where human judgment is irreplaceable.

We're a global team of 500+ people, with regional headquarters in New York, Tel Aviv, London, and Singapore, and employee presence across the US, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, China, and Australia. Our teams are cross-functional by design, and the work you do here is visible, consequential, and connected to the outcomes that matter.

You'll have real ownership here and proximity to decisions. And we back that with investment in your growth — RSU offerings, L&D programs built around AI tools, and a culture of recognition rooted in our 4.5 day weeks (aka Forter’s Appreciation Fridays and Sundays). From team outings to local cultural celebrations, we mark the moments that matter — wherever you are in the world. We don't want Forter to be just another job. We want it to be the place you build.

If you're ready to work on a problem that sits at the intersection of AI, commerce, and human trust, this is it.
