What We’re Looking For

Product Sense

Possesses product judgment and consistently identifies the highest-impact problems to solve.

• Quickly understands customer workflows and uncovers root causes rather than reacting to feature requests.
• Balances customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and long-term product strategy.
• Makes sound prioritization and investment decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Knows what not to build, making thoughtful trade-offs between customization, configuration, and core platform capabilities.
• Simplifies complex problems into elegant, scalable product solutions.

Systems Thinker with a Platform Mindset

Designs products that solve classes of problems not individual customer requests.

• Recognizes common patterns across customers and translates them into reusable platform capabilities.
• Distinguishes what should be configurable, productized, or customer-specific.
• Thinks beyond individual features to build scalable workflows, reusable services, and extensible product foundations.
• Considers downstream impacts across customer experience, engineering, operations, compliance, and long-term maintainability.
• Every implementation should strengthen the platform and reduce effort for future customers.

0→1 Builder with High Ownership

Thrives in ambiguity and can take ideas from concept to production.

• Creates clarity where none exists.
• Moves quickly while maintaining a high quality bar.
• Takes ownership from discovery through execution.
• Learns rapidly from customer feedback and continuously improves the product.
• Balances startup speed with enterprise-grade quality.

Technical Product Skills

Partners deeply with Engineering to solve technically complex product challenges.

• Comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, data models, system boundaries, permissions, and deployment considerations.
• Writes clear product requirements and technical specifications that reduce ambiguity and accelerate execution.
• Understands engineering trade-offs and helps teams make sound product decisions.
• Influences architecture through strong product thinking while balancing scalability, maintainability, and execution speed.

Customer-Embedded Product Leadership

Treats customer deployments as opportunities to improve the product not simply deliver projects.

• Works directly with enterprise customers to understand operational workflows and business goals.
• Navigates enterprise environments with legacy systems, compliance requirements, and organizational constraints.
• Converts implementation learnings into reusable platform capabilities.
• Measures success through customer adoption, operational improvements, and measurable business outcomes.

Influence & Communication

• Builds alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Leadership.
• Produces clear product requirements, decision records, workflow diagrams, and rollout plans.
• Communicates complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Raises the quality bar through thoughtful product reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Establish outcome-driven metrics for adoption, operational efficiency, quality, and customer value.
• Use product analytics, customer feedback, and operational insights to continuously improve product decisions.
• Champion a culture of experimentation, learning, and measurable impact.

Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years of Product Management experience building enterprise SaaS, platform, or workflow-driven products.
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through production.
• Experience building technically sophisticated products involving APIs, integrations, data-intensive workflows, or automation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and engineering direction without direct authority.
• Experience partnering directly with enterprise customers throughout product discovery, implementation, or deployment.

Preferred

• Experience building products for regulated industries such as Mortgage, Financial Services, Lending, Insurance or Healthcare.
• Experience with AI-enabled products, workflow automation, or intelligent decision-support systems.

You’ll Be Successful If You

• Have exceptional product instincts and systems thinking.
• Enjoy solving ambiguous, high-impact problems.
• Naturally think in platforms and reusable capabilities rather than individual features.
• Can comfortably bridge customer problems and technical solutions.
• Balance speed, quality, and long-term product strategy.
• Raise the bar for product thinking across the organization through influence, execution, and sound judgment.
