Want to build a Service Mesh that powers Amazon at scale? Amazon Traffic Engineering delivers managed compute and networking solutions that help engineers build secure, highly available, and scalable services — all on top of AWS technologies. We drive the foundational infrastructure, tools, and best practices behind Amazon's global SOA expansion. As an SDE on the BigMesh team, you'll build centralized traffic management and networking solutions handling security, authentication, authorization, load balancing, and routing for Amazon's most critical services. Your work will directly improve availability, efficiency, and developer productivity by turning complex SOA concerns into managed abstractions that "just work." We use Golang, Rust, and Java. If you're new to any of these, our onboarding will get you up to speed. Come help make developing software at Amazon more seamless and flexible!
