About Capco

Capco is a global technology and management consultancy specializing in driving transformation across the financial services industry. We work with leading banks, insurers and other financial institutions to tackle complex challenges, deliver meaningful change and build the financial services organizations of tomorrow.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a versatile Business Consultant with experience in Financial Services. Someone who enjoys variety, quickly understands new environments and can contribute across different types of projects and clients.

About the role

As a Business Consultant at Capco, you will work alongside our clients on a wide range of strategic, business and transformation challenges within the financial services sector.

Your assignments can vary significantly. On one project, you might help a client redesign a business process or translate business needs into requirements. On another, you could contribute to a large-scale transformation, support the implementation of a new operating model or help stakeholders navigate regulatory or organizational change.

What you’ll do

Depending on the project, you may:

• Analyze business challenges and translate them into clear recommendations and actionable solutions.

• Gather, structure and challenge business requirements.

• Map and optimize business processes and customer journeys.

• Support business and digital transformation initiatives.

• Contribute to target operating model and organizational design projects.

• Prepare workshops, presentations and decision materials for client stakeholders.

• Coordinate with business, technology, operations, risk and other teams.

• Support project and change management activities.

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the client organization.

• Bring structure to complex problems and help move projects from analysis to implementation.

What we’re looking for

You have:

• Professional experience within banking, insurance, payments, capital markets, wealth or asset management, or another financial services environment.

• Experience in consulting, business analysis, transformation, project delivery or a comparable role.

• A broad understanding of how financial institutions operate, including their products, processes and regulatory environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• The flexibility to move between different projects, topics and client environments.

• A hands-on mentality and the ability to take ownership of your work.

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams.

• Professional fluency in English and good knowledge of Dutch.

Most importantly, you are curious and adaptable. You don't need to be an expert in every financial services domain, but you should be able to quickly understand a new business context, ask the right questions and create value for our clients.

Why Capco?

At Capco, you won’t be tied to one narrow role or domain. You will have the opportunity to work across different clients, challenges and areas of financial services while building a broad consulting skill set.

You can expect:

• Diverse projects at leading financial institutions.

• Exposure to different areas of banking and financial services.

• Opportunities to combine business, technology and transformation topics.

• A collaborative environment with experienced consultants and industry experts.

• Responsibility and client exposure from an early stage.

• Opportunities to develop your expertise and shape your own career path.

• An international network and the opportunity to learn from colleagues across Capco.
