Are you interested in shaping the future of entertainment? Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching? Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV. From one service, we're delivering versatile ways to watch hundreds of thousands of movies, TV series, and live events on the web, mobile, and TV. Our service is available in 240+ territories globally, and we're just getting started. Working closely with business and technology partners, we use research, design, and prototyping to guide early product development, bring clarity to engineering goals, and develop a customer-centric point of view. This is where you come in. As a Senior Product Designer, you'll join our Enterprise team within Prime Video Experience Design and lead design for a suite of products that uses AI to plan, manage, and optimize Prime Video's marketing at scale. The ambition is a progressively hands-off-the-wheel experience: a system that learns from every campaign, recommends the categorization, tiering, budget, channels, and creative that will move engagement, and takes on more of the planning and execution over time so people supervise and decide rather than assemble. This is a suite rather than a single product, and much of it is being defined now. You'll own the design direction across it, from framing problems that nobody has framed yet through detailed interaction design, developer handoff, launch, and what we learn afterwards. The hard part is not the automation. It is the judgement around it. When a system can plan and produce more than any person can check, the design problem becomes how someone trusts it: what they see to make a decision quickly, where confidence, provenance, and the reasoning behind a recommendation surface, how they correct rather than reject, and what happens when the system is wrong. A hands-off-the-wheel experience only works if the human can see what the machine is about to do, understand why, step in at the right altitude, and stay accountable for the outcome. You'll co-own that behavior with engineering, and you'll set the line for the team on where the system can drive and where a human still has to. If designing for probabilistic systems and the trust, control, and recovery they demand is the work you want to be doing, there is a great deal of unsolved ground here. You'll establish the interaction and visual standards that hold this portfolio together, and build the patterns and mechanisms that make the designers around you faster. You'll use AI-assisted design workflows to move quickly, from rapid prototyping through to designing generative and agentic AI capabilities into the products themselves. You'll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, Design Technology, and the marketing, brand, creative, sports, and portfolio teams who depend on this work, taking a clear position and arguing for it in writing and in the room. You'll be surrounded by senior designers, researchers, and design technologists working the same domain, on problems complex enough to build real depth in. Key job responsibilities - Lead end-to-end design across a suite of AI-driven marketing planning, management, and optimization products, from problem framing through handoff, launch, and iteration - Design toward a progressively hands-off-the-wheel experience: define the levels of automation, what the system does on its own versus what it proposes for approval, and how that boundary moves as trust is earned - Co-own the AI behavior with engineering: how people trust recommendations, see the reasoning and provenance behind them, review at volume, correct rather than reject, and recover when the system is wrong - Design the intelligence layer that closes the loop, connecting strategy, goals, spend, and outcomes so the system learns from every campaign and surfaces benchmarks and recommendations that drive the next one - Design AI-assisted and increasingly automated planning across the campaign lifecycle: categorization and tiering across territories, budget and channel allocation, work-back and scheduling, team assignment, and the brief - Design the AI creative capabilities within the suite: generating marketing assets at scale, and the review, correction, and quality bar that make generated output shippable - Define where the system's output, from a recommended plan to a generated asset, is good enough to ship and where human craft and human decision are still required - Map the full marketing lifecycle across formats, languages, and territories, and design for its real constraints: scale, variants, multi-team processes, and edge cases - Set the interaction and visual standards that give the portfolio coherence, and feed them back into our design system - Lead workstreams with other designers, and build the patterns and tooling that make them faster - Tie design decisions to measurable outcomes, and prioritize ruthlessly - Present and defend recommendations to senior leadership, and write the narratives that move decisions without you in the room - Partner across product, engineering, research, design technology, marketing, brand, sports, portfolio, legal, and data science - Run discovery with the marketers, strategists, channel owners, portfolio planners, and operators doing this work today - Mentor the designers around you and raise the team's practice About the team You'll be joining the Enterprise team within Prime Video Experience Design. We design the tools and workflows used by the content partners, marketers, operators, and internal teams who power the Prime Video content supply chain. Our products span marketing planning and portfolio management, channel strategy, campaign execution, marketing creative production, partner-facing content management, content acquisition, partner onboarding, publishing, and analytics. GenAI is the connective tissue across all of it, changing both what we deliver and how we deliver it, and moving these tools from systems people operate toward systems that increasingly plan and act on their own. We've built an enterprise design system that brings coherence and quality to a growing portfolio of tools. We're scrappy but detail-oriented, and we know when to move fast versus when to dive deep. We work alongside UX Researchers and Design Technologists, and our enterprise customers are close enough to test what we build and tell us what needs to change.
