• Troubleshoot PC/PLC sensors, drives, controls, and other industrial systems with precision and efficiency.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation and hands-on diagnostic skills to identify problems and restore equipment to operation quickly.
• Respond to equipment issues and minimize production downtime, helping minimize disruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, cutting systems, conveyors, automated assembly equipment, and other critical machinery.
• Identify potential problems before they become costly breakdowns.
• Partner with production, engineering, and leadership to improve equipment reliability, safety, and productivity.
• Take ownership of problems from initial troubleshooting through repair and follow-up.

Why Join Us?

Build a Career, Not Just a Job.

This is a role where you can:

• Build a long-term career close to home in Marion, Ohio

• Expand your mechanical, electrical, and automation skills
• Experience the satisfaction of knowing your technical expertise directly affects how well the plant operates and performs
• Grow your responsibilities and expertise as you grow with the company

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to be part of a team for the long term.

You should be comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment and performing hands-on maintenance work, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and safely handling tools and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. You will be working in a manufacturing environment where noise levels and temperatures may vary depending on the area and specific work being performed.

Your Future Could Be Here

If you’re a maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, takes pride in solving difficult equipment problems, values stability and long-term career growth, and wants to work for an organization where people retire after decades of service, this is an opportunity to use your skills, keep learning, make a real impact, and build your future right here in Marion, Ohio.

Join us and grow with a team that’s building for the future.

What You'll Do:

Own Equipment Reliability and Troubleshooting

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics, technical documentation, and hands-on diagnostic skills to identify root causes and restore equipment to operation.
• Respond to equipment issues and production downtime with a sense of urgency, helping minimize disruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support and other resources when additional expertise is needed to complete complex repairs.
• Take ownership of problems from initial diagnosis through repair, follow-up, and prevention of future failures.

Drive Preventive and Proactive Maintenance

• Perform preventive maintenance on critical production equipment, including welders, cutting systems, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.
• Identify early signs of wear, deterioration, and potential equipment failure before they become larger production issues.
• Help develop, improve, and execute preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that strengthen equipment reliability and uptime.
• Look beyond the immediate repair to identify opportunities to prevent recurring problems.

Make an Impact on Plant Productivity

• Work closely with production, engineering, and plant leadership to resolve equipment challenges and improve operational performance.
• Bring forward ideas that improve equipment reliability, safety, maintainability, and overall plant efficiency.
• Prioritize work based on production needs while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safe work practices.
• See the direct impact of your technical expertise: when equipment runs better, production performs better.

Maintain a Safe and Organized Workplace

• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established maintenance procedures.
• Apply lockout/tagout and other safe work practices consistently.
• Ensure repairs and modifications meet required safety and operational standards.
• Help maintain an organized, professional work environment where tools, equipment, and workspaces are kept to high standards.

Physical & Work Environment

This is a hands-on, active manufacturing maintenance role, and the physical nature of the work is an important part of the job. Technicians should be prepared to:

• Stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Safely lift and handle materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work around operating equipment, moving machinery, and production activity.
• Work in a manufacturing environment where noise levels and temperatures may vary depending on the area of the plant and the work being performed.

For the right technician, this environment offers variety and the opportunity to stay active, solve new problems, and work directly with the equipment that drives the plant.

Why This Role Matters:

This position offers real ownership and real impact. You won't simply receive a list of work orders and move from task to task. You'll be a key part of keeping the operation productive by diagnosing problems, restoring equipment, preventing future failures, and continuously improving how the plant operates.

If you are a maintenance professional who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, takes pride in solving difficult equipment problems, and wants to see the direct connection between your work and plant performance, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or equivalent experience in the installation, setup, and service of computer-controlled equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge in:
  • PLC and computer-controlled equipment
  • Industrial electrical and electronic systems

  • Mechanical systems and machine repair
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
