This role works closely with people across the company – Communications, Legal, Investor Relations, Finance, and more. Key job responsibilities Own the governance communications strategy end to end – build it, run it, and report on how it’s going. Shape how Amazon talks about its legal and corporate governance work. You’ll weigh in on strategy for public-facing materials, handle media inquiries, monitor and understand how media is covering Amazon, and write content. Lead communications on Amazon’s annual regulatory filings – the proxy, the shareholder letter, etc. You’ll work closely with legal and Investor Relations, owning the comms plan, advising on content, writing content, and managing media inquiries and coverage. Help plan and run the annual shareholder meeting. You’ll manage logistics, own media attendance, team up with Executive Communications to prep our leaders, and field media inquiries and coverage.
