Veterinary Hospital Administrator

- Foster a positive, collaborative culture between all hospital teams.
- Partner with medical leadership to oversee daily hospital operations and achieve hospital goals.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop hospital team members.
- Support DVMs and hospital leadership with administrative, HR, performance, and operational needs.
- Monitor financial performance, labor costs, revenue, and key hospital metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and the client and team experience.
- Oversee scheduling, facilities, equipment, compliance, and other operational needs.
- Navigate employee and client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Build strong relationships within the local veterinary community.
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning, business development, and continued hospital growth.
- 3–5 years of leadership and management experience in veterinary medicine or healthcare required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience managing veterinarians, physicians, or other professional staff strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, financial performance, and team development.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
- A people-focused leadership style that balances compassion with accountability.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative medical environment.
- A passion for supporting veterinary professionals and delivering exceptional patient and client care.
