Since 2019, Mercury has been rebuilding banking* for the way modern companies work. We combine thoughtful design with strong engineering to offer checking and savings accounts, cards, payments, credit, treasury and the analytics that tie it all together. Everything we build comes from one belief: finance should be carefully crafted, fast and transparent, and it should stay out of the way so founders can get back to building.

That belief only holds up if the right people are building it. Hiring is one of the most important ways we shape Mercury’s future. In this role, you’ll directly influence the teams building our products and the experience of our customers. As a Technical Recruiter, you’ll own a focused set of searches from kickoff to close and partner closely with hiring managers along the way.

*Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.

• Build and maintain strong, healthy pipelines across multiple roles simultaneously
• Source candidates proactively and creatively to engage top technical talent
• Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s products, engineering challenges, and team needs
• Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders on pipeline health, progress, blockers, and recruiting timeline

You should have:

• 1-3 years of experience as a technical recruiter supporting engineering or data teams
• Strong sourcing skills that go beyond LinkedIn Recruiter
• Deep curiosity about the products and teams you support, and a strong understanding of how the roles you hire for drive impact
• Strong alignment with Mercury’s values and ability to represent them authentically to candidates and your teammates
• Enjoy building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams, and lead with deep empathy, kindness, and care for the work you do
