The position is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM w/ possible overtime.

Compensation: $20 / hr.

Candidates within a commutable distance to Stafford, TX are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is looking for a Sample Control Technician in Stafford , TX.

The role will primarily focus on front desk/ cusotmer responsabilties but is also expectyed to assist our sample recieign department. Please see job duties below,

Essential Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and provide professional assistance to clients.
• Customer service responsibilities including greeting walk in clients, answering phone calls, helping clients with choosing methods and filling out COCs, taking credit card payments, and other client support as needed;
• This position is expected to assist oversee all the different aspects of shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and logging samples.
• Prepare samples from processing
• Accepts and signs for deliveries.
• Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck.
• Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around Sample Receiving area.
• Opens coolers and inspects contents of shipments. Checks documentation to ensure all samples are accounted for.
• Distributes samples in different departments as appropriate.
• Follows strict safety and quality control procedures.
• Stores, restocks, and shelves samples as necessary.
• Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
• Enters records in LIMS system

Qualifications

• High School or GED
• Customer Service experience required.
• Good Oral and written English language skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to move around, stand for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, squat and lift containers up to 50 pounds
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in Englis
