• Appointment Coordination: Conduct approximately four signing appointments per day, ensuring adherence to schedule while maintaining thoroughness.
• Quality Assurance: Identify and flag spelling, formatting, and other document inconsistencies before attorney final review, helping ensure documents are accurate and ready for signing.
• Communication: Provide clear explanations of documents to clients, addressing questions and escalating legal issues to the attorney as needed.
• Office Collaboration: Work closely with Kennewick's Front Desk Coordinator and visiting attorneys to maintain smooth operations.
• Travel Support: Occasionally travel to the Yakima office to provide additional support, with mileage reimbursed.

What we’re looking for:

• Relevant Experience: Previous paralegal or legal experience is preferred, with estate planning experience considered a strong plus. We are also open to experienced legal intake or similar professionals who demonstrate strong transferable skills and are eager to grow into paralegal work.
• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex legal concepts in understandable terms and adapt to the client's knowledge level.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail in reviewing and preparing legal documents.
• Organizational Skills: Adept at managing multiple client relationships and maintaining a high-volume appointment schedule.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiar with Microsoft Office and capable of adapting to the firm’s in-house CRM and evolving systems.
• Thick-Skinned: Able to handle challenging questions and a range of personalities with composure and professionalism.

Why you should work here:

• Client Impact: Make a tangible difference in clients' lives by helping them secure their family's future.
• Autonomy: Enjoy the independence of conducting signing appointments and managing client journeys.
• Growth Environment: Opportunities to expand your expertise in estate planning and engage in meaningful, client-facing work.
• Supportive Culture: Collaborate with seasoned attorneys and dedicated support staff in a focused, quiet office setting.

Additional perks:

• Medical Benefits: 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees, eligible after approximately 60 days.
