Job Description

Qualifications

Help Future Nurses Find Their Purpose - Healthcare needs you!

Unitek College is on a mission: to close the nursing shortage gap by preparing compassionate, high-quality nurses and allied health professionals who serve our local communities. And we’re growing rapidly as a result! We offer Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing plus diploma programs in Vocational Nursing and Medical Assisting. Every student we recruit is a future frontline caregiver — and you’ll play a direct role getting them there.

Position: Admissions Representative — Nursing & Allied Health Programs

Why this role matters:

Unitek graduates enter hospitals, clinics, long-term care, and community health centers across our region. By connecting motivated people with life-changing training, you help deliver the workforce our communities urgently need.

Healthcare needs you — and our students need you to guide them from interest to enrollment.

What you’ll do:

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective students who’ve expressed interest in Unitek programs.

Make 100–150 outbound daily phone calls to assess interest, build rapport, and schedule admissions interviews.

Conduct consultative in-person or virtual interviews that present program options, career pathways, and educational outcomes.

Follow up with interested prospects to answer questions, remove barriers, and collect required admissions documents.

Accurately document all student contacts and admissions activity in Nexus/CampusVue.

Who you are:

Empathetic, mission-driven communicator who believes education changes lives and strengthens healthcare.

Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and professional follow-up.

Strong consultative sales approach — you listen, advise, and guide prospects toward the best path.

Organized and detail-oriented with experience using CRM or student information systems (experience with Nexus or CampusVue a plus).

Previous admissions, enrollment, healthcare recruiting, or higher-education sales experience preferred.

What we offer:

Opportunity to make a measurable impact on local healthcare by enabling the next generation of nurses and allied health professionals.

Collaborative campus environment and ongoing training in consultative enrollment techniques.

Competitive compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunities within Unitek College.

A career path into campus leadership roles.

We have multiple openings available and we’re interviewing now!

How to apply:

Not all sales roles change lives – this one does! If you’re inspired by the front-line impact of preparing caregivers and ready to help prospective students begin their journey, submit your application today!

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ customer service, telemarketing, or sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors
• Excellent presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
