About Re:Build Re:Build’s mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. Founded in 2020 and currently led by co-founders Jeff Wilke, Miles Arnone, and William Barker, Re:Build partners with industrial companies and innovators from the earliest stages of product design to large-scale production. Re:Build is laying the foundation for a better future for its customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America’s manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across America, including in historically deindustrialized regions. We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate.

Great careers start with great connections. We're always interested in connecting with talented, curious, and driven individuals who share our passion for innovation, problem-solving, and strengthening American manufacturing.

Who We Are Looking For

Re:Build is growing, and we're looking for talented CNC Machinists and CNC Programmers at all experience levels to join our teams across the United States.

Whether you're an experienced CNC Programmer, a skilled machinist, or early in your machining career, we want to connect with individuals who are passionate about precision manufacturing, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Our teams work with advanced machining technologies, diverse materials, and complex components supporting industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and industrial manufacturing.

We're looking for hands-on professionals with experience in CNC milling, turning, programming, machine setup, or precision machining who take pride in producing high-quality work.

What You Get to Do

Depending on your experience and area of expertise, responsibilities may include:

• CNC Machining: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC milling and turning equipment, including 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.

• CNC Programming: Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software and G-code.

• Precision Manufacturing: Machine components to exact specifications using engineering drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards.

• Tooling & Fixturing: Select cutting tools, develop machining setups, and support fixture design and development.

• Quality & Inspection: Use precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and part quality.

• Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes, efficiency, and product quality.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside machinists, programmers, and engineers to deliver high-quality components on schedule.

What You Bring to the Team

We recognize that machining expertise comes from a variety of backgrounds. Qualifications will vary depending on the position and experience level.

• Experience or training in CNC machining, programming, setup, or machine operation.

• Familiarity with CNC milling, turning, or mill-turn equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

• Understanding of machining fundamentals, cutting tools, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

• Knowledge of machining tolerances and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Additional experience we'd love to see:

• CNC programming experience using Mastercam, hyperMILL, or similar CAM software.

• Experience reading, editing, or developing G-code.

• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis milling, Swiss turning, or mill-turn machining.

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.

• Background in precision manufacturing for aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, or other highly regulated industries.

• Experience with complex geometries, tight tolerances, and a variety of materials, including metals, alloys, plastics, and composites.

• Technical certification, machining apprenticeship, or associate degree in a related field.

Opportunities for Every Experience Level

We are interested in connecting with professionals across a range of skill levels, including:

• Entry-Level CNC Machinists: Individuals with foundational machining knowledge, technical training, or hands-on experience looking to develop their skills.

• Experienced CNC Machinists: Professionals skilled in machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, and precision manufacturing.

• Senior CNC Machinists / Setup Specialists: Experienced machinists capable of managing complex setups, optimizing processes, and supporting less-experienced team members.

• CNC Programmers: Professionals experienced in developing and optimizing machining programs, tooling strategies, and manufacturing processes.

• Senior CNC Programmers: Advanced programmers with expertise in complex machining, multi-axis programming, process development, and technical problem-solving.
