Senior Manager, Acquisition Sales (ANZ)

At New Relic, we're building the future of observability—a platform that gives companies the power to see, understand, and optimize their digital world. We’re not just providing a product; we're empowering businesses to thrive in a world increasingly powered by AI.

We're looking for a strategic, high-impact, high-energy leader to head our ANZ Acquisition Sales team. You will be at the heart of our growth in one of our most dynamic markets, driving new logo acquisition across the ANZ landscape and shaping our acquisition strategy from the ground up. This is your chance to lead a high-stakes segment and leave your mark on a global technology organisation during Australia's massive digital and AI surge.

If you live and breathe new logo acquisition with a proven track record and you're ready to drive significant impact and help ANZ most innovative companies succeed, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Manager of Acquisition Sales for ANZ, you will be the primary driver of our large-scale market expansion. You will:

• Be a Growth Catalyst: Design and execute the sales strategy for the ANZ acquisition segment, focusing on high-value new logo acquisition and strategic expansion within that cohort.
• Build & Inspire: Recruit, mentor, and coach a team of enterprise and commercial Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous professional development tailored to the ANZ market.
• Lead the Charge: Serve as the strategic lead for the acquisition business, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with Solution Consulting, Alliances and Channels, Marketing, Product and Customer Success to ensure a seamless, value-driven buyer journey.
• Forge Strategic Partnerships: Directly engage with C-suite stakeholders at Australia's most high profile accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and executive sponsor to ensure short and long-term customer acquisition, success and growth.

The Skills You'll Bring

We are looking for a motivated, fast paced, results-oriented leader who excels in complex sales environments. You will have:

• Proven Leadership: A strong track record of leading high-performing sales teams within the ANZ technology market, specifically focused on new logo acquisition in the enterprise segment and delivering consistent, predictable revenue growth.
• Strategic Execution: The ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable sales territories and account plans that penetrate complex, large-scale ANZ organizations.
• A Collaborative Approach: A talent for managing diverse stakeholders and an "all-in" team mentality, ensuring your team is supported by the broader New Relic ecosystem.
• Drive to Excel: An innate passion for winning, a data-driven approach to pipeline management, and the resilience to lead a team through Australia’s fast-paced, evolving technology landscape
• Performance Focused: A talent to find a way to perform, overcome obstacles, with data driven performance metrics
• Coaching & Feedback: A talent for coaching, mentoring your team to high performance along with career progression that builds employee confidence

As the Head of Acquisition Sales for ANZ, you will lead a critical growth engine for New Relic in the region. In a market where digital-first organisations are scaling at an unprecedented pace and AI has become mainstream, your mission is to move beyond "vendor" status to become a strategic partner. You will lead a team focused on driving new logo acquisition through value based customer alignment and ensuring deep platform adoption to maximise customer ROI and impact whilst also driving a consumption-based revenue model, ensuring our customers realize the full potential of the New Relic platform.
