Why INNERGY

We hire for how people show up, not just what’s on the resume. Here’s what that looks like day to day:

• Voice of the Customer. It starts and ends with the woodworker. We build for the people running the saws.
• Education. We listen, learn, and teach. Curiosity is part of the job description.
• Agile as Hell. Fast improvement beats delayed perfection. Try it, learn, ship the better version.
• Transparency. We share what we know, say the hard thing kindly, and earn trust the honest way.
• Problem/Solution. We run toward problems, not around them.
• Quality. We deliver as if we’re the ones on the receiving end.

The result is a remote team where ideas get heard, ownership is real, and good

Compensation and location This is a remote role open to candidates living in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. We pay competitively based on experience, skills, and market data, plus benefits, and your recruiter will share the range for this role in your first conversation.

AI in our hiring process We may use AI tools to help organize applications. A person reviews every application and makes every hiring decision. Feel free to use AI to polish your resume, but keep your answers your own and leave it out of live interviews unless we invite it.

Companydescription

Company Description

INNERGY builds cloud-based ERP software made specifically for custom manufacturers. Shops that produce architectural millwork, cabinetry, and casework use our platform to connect design, production, and delivery, so they can run faster and with fewer surprises.

Our people are what make that possible. Since 2016 we’ve grown into a fully remote team of more than 200 people around the world. We combine deep software expertise with a real interest in the problems our customers face every day. We value collaboration, creativity, and ownership, and we work as hard on building a supportive culture as we do on building the product. Here, people are heard and have room to do their best work.

Our recent acquisition of Microvellum, a long-trusted name in design-to-manufacturing software for woodworkers, opens a new chapter for INNERGY. Together we’re building one connected, end-to-end platform for custom manufacturers.

That means now is a good time to join. Your work will be visible, your ideas will shape real decisions, and you’ll help define where the product, the team, and the industry go next.

Jobdescription

Job Description

You’ll be the person INNERGY clients call when they want their engineering libraries done right. You’ll work with clients using Microvellum Toolbox and INNERGY Engineering to configure, build, validate, and maintain the libraries that drive their design-to-manufacturing workflow. Some days that means coaching a client through best practices. Other days it means getting into their library yourself and fixing what’s broken.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with clients. Hold regular check-ins to review progress and roadblocks in Toolbox and INNERGY Engineering. Ask the industry questions that help clients make their libraries more accurate and easier to use.
• Build and validate libraries. Help clients create and validate product data, machining rules, and design standards. When it makes sense, work directly in client libraries so they’re accurate, complete, and ready for production.
• Train and support. Give one-on-one guidance on using Toolbox and Engineering libraries well. Work with the Content Creation team to decide which training materials and documentation clients need most.
• Meet clients where they are. Adjust your approach for clients at every technical skill level, and give extra support where it’s needed so they adopt Toolbox and Engineering workflows successfully.
• Keep communication clear. Stay in steady contact with clients through onboarding and validation. Document progress, issues, and fixes so the wider support team always has the full picture.
• Solve problems. Find and fix issues with library setup, configuration, and use. Work with clients on practical solutions that make their engineering workflows more accurate and efficient.
• Make the product better. Pass client feedback and recurring issues to the development and content teams so library management, and the client experience, keep improving.

Qualifications

What you bring

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in CAD/CAM, engineering software, or architectural millwork.
• Hands-on time with Microvellum Toolbox, INNERGY Engineering, or another AutoCAD-based design-to-manufacturing tool. This is a big plus.
• A solid grasp of engineering libraries: how to configure, validate, and maintain them.
• The ability to explain technical ideas clearly to anyone, from power users to clients who are still getting comfortable with software.
• Experience training and supporting clients both in person and remotely.
• Strong organization and time management. You can run several client engagements at once without losing track of any of them.
• Patience and empathy with clients, plus a habit of measuring your success by their results.
