Jobdescription

Job Description

Chiro One’s Chiropractic Preceptorship Program gives eligible chiropractic students the opportunity to complete their preceptorship within our clinics while gaining hands-on exposure to patient care, clinic operations, and the Chiro One model of care.

This program is designed for students approaching graduation who are ready to take the next step from the classroom into clinical practice. Preceptors will work alongside experienced Chiro One doctors and clinic teams, gaining practical experience in a high-volume, patient-focused environment.

For students interested in beginning their chiropractic career with Chiro One after graduation, the preceptorship also provides an opportunity to experience our clinics, culture, and approach to care before pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic position.

What You’ll Experience

During your preceptorship, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work alongside experienced Doctors of Chiropractic in an active clinical environment
• Gain exposure to the complete patient experience, from initial evaluation through ongoing care
• Observe and participate in patient assessments and clinical workflows as permitted by your chiropractic program and applicable regulations
• Develop confidence communicating with patients and educating them about their care
• Gain exposure to chiropractic adjustments, corrective exercise, digital X-ray processes, and other components of the Chiro One care model
• Learn how doctors manage patient flow, documentation, treatment planning, and day-to-day clinic responsibilities
• Understand the operational and leadership responsibilities involved in running a successful chiropractic clinic
• Receive coaching and feedback from experienced Chiro One doctors
• Experience Chiro One’s clinical environment before graduation and potential transition into a Doctor of Chiropractic career

Turn Your Preceptorship Into a Head Start on Your Career

A preceptorship is an opportunity to put your education into practice, learn from experienced doctors, and see what day-to-day clinical practice really looks like.

At Chiro One, we want you to finish your program with greater confidence, stronger clinical exposure, and a clearer picture of the doctor you want to become.

Qualifications

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is intended for chiropractic students who:

• Are currently enrolled and in good standing at an accredited chiropractic college
• Have reached the point in their program where they are eligible to complete an approved preceptorship
• Have passed Board 1
• Have received, or are able to receive, authorization from their chiropractic college to participate
• Are committed to patient-centered, evidence-informed chiropractic care
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn
• Are comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced clinic environment
• Have an interest in developing their clinical skills and learning from experienced practicing doctors

What We Look For

Our strongest preceptors are curious, coachable, engaged, and ready to participate.

We are looking for students who want more than observation. Successful preceptors ask questions, seek feedback, take initiative within the boundaries of their program, and use the experience to prepare themselves for practice after graduation.

An interest in a future career with Chiro One is encouraged, but participation in the preceptorship program does not guarantee or require future employment.

Program Requirements

Preceptorship placement is dependent upon:

• Eligibility and approval through your chiropractic college
• Availability of an approved Chiro One clinic and supervising doctor
• Completion of required documentation prior to the start of the preceptorship
• Meeting any applicable school, licensing, credentialing, insurance, or Chiro One requirements
• Ability to meet the schedule and hour requirements established for the approved placement

Specific dates, hours, clinic location, and supervising doctor will be determined as part of the placement and approval process.

Interested in Applying?

Submit your application through this posting and include the requested information regarding your chiropractic school, anticipated graduation date, preceptorship eligibility dates, preferred geographic area, and future location interests.

Our Talent Team will review your information and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams to determine potential placement availability.
