The Eugene Structural office is a satellite of our office in Portland, OR. By joining the Eugene Structural office, you will get the stability of an established office with the excitement and opportunity to participate in the development and creation of a new office.

KPFF is about freedom to work on what inspires you. Our engineers work on a diverse spectrum of projects in locations around the globe but also those within the community we live and play in. We have all the benefits of a large, stable company but operate day-to-day with the flexibility of a small firm. Providing first-class service to our clients is what we are all about.

We are a group of dedicated, friendly and hard-working engineers looking for exceptional engineers to join us. At KPFF you will be trusted to work independently as well as collaboratively in the design and construction process with talented engineers, BIM/CAD technicians, architects, project managers, contractors and client teams for a wide array of intriguing projects.

Our current projects include:

• Airports
• Commercial Developments
• Education Facilities (K-12 & Higher Ed)
• Healthcare + Medical Facilities
• Industrial Facilities
• Mass Timber
• Mixed-Use Developments
• Pedestrian Bridges
• Residential
• Retail
• Theaters

You may also get involved in our Portland projects and work with the Portland engineering team.

Qualifications

In addition to being creative, proactive and detail-oriented, the preferred candidate will have:

• 3-8 years of structural engineering experience
• PE and MS or MEng degree (preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or conducting site visits.
• Capacity to move around project sites, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.

PLEASE NOTE: You will be working closely with the Eugene Structural office’s team leader, however, to be successful in this position; you will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision on basic engineering tasks.

This is not a remote position, and the expectation is that you will be in the Eugene office most of the time to work in-person with other team members and clients.
