Meter Technician

Accurate metering is at the heart of a reliable electric system—and it takes more than simply installing a meter. As a Meter Technician, you’ll work with the technology that measures, records, and communicates electrical usage across our system. You’ll be responsible for the configuration, installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of electric meters and our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring, metering equipment, and commercial/industrial electrical systems. Because our members’ bills are based on this data, precision and attention to detail are critical. If you enjoy working with electrical systems, technology, and problem-solving—and want to play a key role in the accuracy and reliability of our electric network—we want you on our team!
