Are you a natural organizer who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving problems before they surface, and creating order in a dynamic environment? The Demand Science Optimization (DSO) organization within Amazon Devices & Services is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support senior leaders and play a critical role in enabling them to focus on their highest-priority work. DSO owns the decision models and products that enable D&S teams to manage marketing optimization, demand forecasting, pricing, and inventory — ensuring every customer can find and buy the Amazon devices they love, delivered where and when they want. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate cross-functional logistics, and serve as a trusted partner who anticipates needs before they arise. You will also influence how the organization operates — driving process improvements, leveraging AI tools to increase productivity, and contributing meaningfully to organizational goals. This is a highly collaborative role. You will build and maintain a strong network across Devices & Services — partnering closely with Executive Assistants, Finance, HR, and Legal stakeholders to keep the organization connected and running effectively. The successful candidate will be able to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency when situations require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the complete picture. If you take initiative, communicate with clarity, build trust quickly across teams and levels, and bring a solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge — we want to hear from you. Key job responsibilities Manage complex scheduling, travel coordination, and expense reporting for senior leaders, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Plan and execute team events, off-sites, and large-scale meetings (staff meetings, global team meetings, social gatherings), coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive Assistants across the team and organization, as well as with Finance, HR, and Legal partners — serving as a reliable point of contact and collaborative partner. Identify opportunities to optimize cross-team processes and procedures, leveraging generative AI tools where appropriate to increase productivity and quality of deliverables. Prepare, curate, and contribute content for leadership communications and organizational materials in partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and appropriate tone. Exercise sound judgment when handling confidential matters and communications, particularly in ambiguous or sensitive situations. A day in the life You will start your morning reviewing your leaders' schedules, adjusting priorities as new requests come in and ensuring preparation materials are ready for upcoming meetings. Throughout the day, you will partner with D&S EAs, stakeholders across finance, human resources, and other functions to coordinate projects, resolve escalations, and keep information flowing. You might draft a communication on behalf of a leader, finalize logistics for an upcoming team event, or refine a recurring process to save the organization time. About the team Our team is focused on empowering leaders to do their best work by providing exceptional organizational support. We value collaboration, creative problem-solving, and a genuine commitment to making things better every day. As we continue to grow, we are looking for team members who bring energy, curiosity, and a willingness to take on new challenges. You will be part of an inclusive environment where your ideas are welcomed and your contributions directly shape how the team and organization operate.
