Social Security Disability Attorney

At Morgan & Morgan, we’re building one of the fastest-growing Social Security Disability practices in the country, and we’re looking for experienced attorneys who want to hit the ground running. You don’t need a decade of experience. But you do need drive, a sharp mind, and a genuine desire to fight for people who have nowhere else to turn.

Build a Practice. Change Lives. Get Rewarded for Winning.

Every day, people come to us after hearing one word too many: Denied.

Denied benefits they’ve earned.

Denied financial security.

Denied the support they need when they’re no longer able to work.

Your job is to change that.

At Morgan & Morgan, our Social Security Disability attorneys don’t spend their days chasing business or wondering where their next client will come. They spend their time doing what they became attorneys to do: advocate for people who need someone in their corner.

As one of the fastest-growing Social Security Disability practices in the country, we’re looking for attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy managing an active caseload, and take pride in moving cases toward successful outcomes.

If you’re energized by staying busy, collaborating with a high-performing team, and being rewarded for your results, we’d like to meet you.

Why Join Us?

We’re not simply growing—we’re building one of the premier Social Security Disability practices in the country.

In 2024, our firm ranked in the Top 10 nationally among Social Security Disability firms by annual fees generated. We’re on track to become one of the very top Social Security Disability firms in the country. That growth creates opportunities for attorneys who want more than a steady paycheck.

Our compensation is designed to reward productivity and successful outcomes. In addition to a competitive base salary, attorneys participate in a bonus structure tied to resolved cases and annual fees, giving high performers the opportunity to significantly increase their overall earnings.

Just as importantly, you’ll inherit a robust caseload and consistent pipeline of clients, allowing you to focus on practicing law rather than generating business.

What You’ll Do

• Represent Social Security Disability clients through all stages of their claims
• Prepare clients for hearings and advocate on their behalf before Administrative Law Judges
• Manage a substantial caseload while maintaining exceptional client service
• Work closely with experienced case managers and support staff to efficiently move cases forward
• Develop legal strategy, prepare evidence, and build compelling cases for clients
• Help clients navigate one of the most important legal matters of their lives

Who Thrives Here

Our most successful attorneys tend to be people who:

• Enjoy staying busy and managing a high-volume practice
• Find satisfaction in resolving cases and seeing measurable results
• Like collaborating with experienced legal professionals in an office environment
• Are self-motivated and performance-driven
• Build strong relationships with clients during difficult moments in their lives
• Want their compensation to reflect their impact and productivity

This position is intentionally office-based because we believe our attorneys do their best work when collaborating with colleagues, mentoring one another, and working closely with their support teams. If you enjoy the energy of an engaged legal office and being surrounded by people who are all working toward the same mission, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with at least one US state bar
• Prior experience handling Social Security Disability hearings
• Existing Social Security Representative ID (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a high-volume caseload
• Outstanding communication, advocacy, and client relationship skills
• Strong writing, organizational, and case management abilities

Locations

These positions can be based in any of our U.S. offices.
