Hourly Position: $18 - $21/ hour depending on experience

Incorporated in 1937 by a group of rural citizens, it exists today to distribute quality service and electricity to the members in portions of six counties: Parke, Putnam, Clay, Vigo, Montgomery and Fountain. As your utility, we serve over 9,000 residential, commercial, and industrial members and are governed by a board of seven member-elected directors who oversee the general business affairs of the cooperative. Job Description

Are you a friendly, organized, and member-focused person who enjoys helping others? We’re looking for a Member Services Associate to join our team and be one of the welcoming faces our members interact with every day.

In this role, you’ll welcome and assist members and visitors at our walk-in and drive-thru window. You'll provide excellent service to our members, assist with account and billing questions, process payments, answer incoming calls, and help connect members with the right resources. You’ll make a positive difference in our members’ experience.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with people and providing exceptional member service.
• Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Works well as part of a team but can also work independently.
• Has strong computer and organizational skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of experience in this position or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
