Own Your Practice. Keep Your Purpose. A Hospital Ownership Opportunity at Town & Country Animal Hospital – Portland, OR

Town & Country Animal Hospital, an AAHA-accredited practice in Portland, OR, is offering a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial veterinarian to step into practice ownership without starting from scratch. If you've dreamed of running your own hospital but want the support of an established brand, loyal client base, and proven infrastructure, this is your moment.

The Opportunity

We're not looking for an employee. We're looking for an owner-operator, a veterinarian who wants to lead, build equity, and practice medicine on their own terms. Town & Country Animal Hospital is a thriving, well-equipped practice with a strong community reputation and a warm, close-knit team already in place. You'd be stepping into something real, with room to make it your own. Through our partnership model with Lakefield Veterinary Group, you'll have the autonomy of independent ownership backed by the resources, systems, and support of a larger network; the best of both worlds!

What Ownership Looks Like Here

• Equity & Profit Participation: Build real wealth through practice ownership, not just a paycheck
• Clinical Autonomy: Practice medicine your way, with no corporate protocols overriding your judgment
• An Established Foundation: Walk into an AAHA-accredited hospital with existing staff, clients, equipment, and systems
• Network Backing: Leverage Lakefield's administrative support, purchasing power, HR infrastructure, along with training and education resources without losing your independence
• AI-Powered Efficiency Tools: Modern workflow and documentation tools so you spend more time on medicine and leadership, less on paperwork
• Flexible Structure: Design your schedule and model to fit the life you want

The Practice

Town & Country Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal hospital that has proudly served Southeast Portland since 1985. Combining the warmth of a family veterinary practice with modern medical capabilities, the hospital is known for its compassionate care, strong client relationships, and commitment to high-quality medicine.

The Market

Town & Country Animal Hospital is located in Southeast Portland near the border of Portland and Gresham. This area offers a lower cost of living than Portland's downtown core while still providing easy access to the city's restaurants, entertainment, and outdoor recreation. Residents enjoy proximity to hiking and biking trails, parks, the Columbia River Gorge, and Mount Hood, making the area especially appealing for outdoor enthusiasts. The surrounding communities of Gresham, Happy Valley, and East Portland provide a mix of suburban neighborhoods, local restaurants, shopping centers, and family-friendly amenities.

You're the Right Fit If You:

• Want clinical freedom without the isolation of going it truly alone
• Have wanted to own your practice but wasn’t sure where or how to start
• Value mentorship, community, and a people-first approach
• Are ready to stop trading time for salary and start building equity
