Job Description

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced finance professional to work closely with global investment banking teams on the analysis and financial content that support their day-to-day work. The role offers exposure to a broad range of companies, industries, financial analyses, and investment banking deliverables, including company profiles, benchmarking analyses, precedent transactions, earnings summaries, sector analysis, and internal performance reporting. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, judgment, curiosity, and the ability to turn complex financial information into clear, banker-ready analysis matter every day.

Just as importantly, this is a role where you can grow and make an increasing contribution to the team. You'll deepen your financial and analytical skills, gain exposure to sophisticated banking workflows, and develop proficiency with leading financial data and AI-enabled tools. As your expertise develops, you'll take increasing ownership of work from initial request through final delivery. For someone who is intellectually curious and enjoys finance, this is an opportunity to do meaningful work, continue developing professionally, and help strengthen the team's analytical capabilities over time.

What You’ll Gain

• Direct exposure to investment banking workflows and the analytical work used by global banking teams

• Breadth of experience across companies, sectors, transaction analyses, benchmarking, earnings, and other financial deliverables

• Hands-on experience with leading financial platforms and emerging AI-enabled tools, learning how to use technology thoughtfully while maintaining rigorous financial standards

• Increasing ownership and responsibility, developing the judgment to manage analytical requests from intake through completed, banker-ready output.

• Transferable financial and professional skills in analysis, research, financial data, Excel, PowerPoint, communication, quality control, and problem solving

What You’ll Do

• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, consolidated financials, and internal performance reports to support strategic decision-making

• Interpret financial results to identify trends, compare performance against industry peers and competitors, and extract insights that inform strategic positioning and benchmarking analyses

• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc deliverables, including Company Profiles, Benchmarking Analyses, Precedent Transactions, Earnings Summaries, Sector Snapshots, and Internal Performance Reviews

• Develop, maintain, and audit analytical models, spreadsheets, and reporting templates used for benchmarking, company analysis, and performance evaluation

• Design complex yet elegant Excel spreadsheets that streamline recurring reporting and enable flexible ad hoc analysis

• Independently manage standard analytical requests from initial intake through final delivery, including confirming requirements, selecting appropriate sources and tools, maintaining supporting backup, and ensuring the completed work addresses the original request

• Maintain complete, logical, and readily traceable supporting documentation so that key data, calculations, and conclusions can be independently reviewed and verified

• Rigorously review your own work before submitting it for review, identifying and resolving discrepancies, questionable data, formatting inconsistencies, and unsupported conclusions

• Leverage internal databases and third-party tools to extract, validate, and interpret data with a high degree of accuracy and consistency

• Collaborate with other global offices, the Research team, and bankers to clarify requests, refine methodologies, resolve data or execution issues, and improve analytical workflows

• Identify and implement opportunities to use automation, AI-enabled tools, and other workflow improvements to increase the efficiency and consistency of recurring reporting, research, and analytical processes

• Assist in the creation of management reports and internal briefing materials used to support banker workflows and client engagement

• Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and internal projects as assigned
