DEPT® is a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We’re 50|50 tech and marketing, partner-led, and first to move. Clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. We have been certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021.

JOB PURPOSE

This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As Senior Influencer Marketing Manager, you own the delivery of our influencer campaigns from kick-off to final report. You make sure projects run smoothly, deliverables land on time, on brief and on budget, and that everyone involved (client teams, internal DEPT® teams and influencers) knows exactly where things stand. You are the client’s main point of contact for influencer marketing: a sparring partner and advisor who takes them along through every campaign from start to finish.

The focus of this role is campaign management and delivery. Your job is to turn the strategic direction into a realistic plan, keep the work moving and make it happen, brilliantly. You bring strategic thinking where it improves the campaign (sharper influencer selection, better content formats, smart optimisations), but your real strength lies in delivery, organisation, stakeholder management and getting things over the line.

You naturally have an overview and know exactly how to set priorities across several campaigns at once. Planning, tracking dependencies and delivering on time are your specialties. Tight deadlines don’t freak you out and you follow through with a “can do” approach. You spot risks early, solve problems independently and know when to escalate. You close the loop with clear, insightful reporting that shows clients what their campaigns delivered and what to do next. With your experience in the influencer industry, your opinion is respected by clients, influencers and internal teams alike, and you enjoy helping more junior colleagues grow.

Influencer Marketing at DEPT®:

• A group of colleagues that will feel like friends in no time;
• Good vibes: we’re trusting and believe that freedom and autonomy come with responsibility;
• If you grow, we grow. That’s why we’ll cheer you on (and support you) with personal coaching, a development plan, and a budget;
• Managing existing clients, projects, or new business? Whatever you like best and fits your ambition — we’ll find you projects that work for you as well as the other way around;
• Clients that will make you feel like a proud ambassador, like Philips, Canva and Ziggo;
• Best of both worlds: the pros of an international leading agency with the energy and caring mentality of your next-door agency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple influencer campaigns at the same time, from kick-off to wrap-up, and be accountable for their outcomes. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues before they become problems;
• Be the client’s main point of contact for influencer marketing. Act as their sparring partner and advisor, take them along through campaigns from start to finish and communicate proactively, clearly and on time. Handle client feedback and escalations, and keep the Influencer Lead informed of client sentiment, risks and opportunities;
• Coordinate the influencer workstream with other DEPT® disciplines (such as paid social, creative, production and strategy), managing dependencies, inputs and handovers and resolving cross-functional delivery issues;
• Act as the senior contact for influencers and talent agents on important conversations, and build long-term relationships with key influencers and agencies;
• Translate the agreed KPIs into realistic campaign and influencer targets, actively monitor performance throughout each campaign, decide where optimisation is needed and keep the client informed on progress and optimisations;
• Gather and analyse campaign insights and translate them into concrete, strategic recommendations that evaluate results and improve future campaigns;
• Own the quality, narrative and conclusions of campaign reports and post-campaign analysis, and lead performance and learnings conversations with clients;
• Be accountable for campaign spend against the agreed budget, including tracking, reconciliation, flagging under- or overspend and recommending reallocations;
• Monitor work against the agreed scope, identify scope creep and manage or escalate it, and flag commercial risks and growth opportunities within your accounts to the Influencer Lead early;

WHAT YOU BRING

• At least 5 years of agency experience in influencer marketing, with a strong track record of running multiple campaigns at once from start to finish;
• Excellent project management skills: you plan, prioritise and keep many moving parts on track, and deadlines are sacred to you;
• Strong stakeholder management skills: you are comfortable managing clients, internal teams and influencers or agents, including difficult conversations and escalations;
• Strong data and analytical skills and experience building campaign reports: you are comfortable with KPIs and performance data and turn results into clear recommendations;
• Commercial awareness, including experience managing campaign budgets and recognising scope creep;
• Great affinity with social media and the influencer landscape on channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat, a solid network of influencers and agencies, and a sharp eye for trends in UGC, influencer campaigns and social media;
• Strong communication skills and fluent Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;
• Experience with influencer tooling such as influencerIQ.

Of course, we love talent, but we’re also looking for a suitable addition to our DEPT® culture. Because that’s what makes everything more fun: from Monday morning meetings to Friday afternoon mixers and everything in between.

We are a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, we create what is next by pioneering ideas, acting fast, and moving further because standing still just is not in our DNA.

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.
