About the Role

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to drive customer acquisition, engagement and revenue growth for Fanatics Collect in Germany.

Reporting to our Germany Country Lead, this is a hands-on, in-market role responsible for developing and executing a locally relevant growth strategy. You’ll turn product launches, sporting and cultural moments, customer insights and market trends into high-impact campaigns across acquisition, CRM, lifecycle, creators and partnerships.

You’ll work closely with our central Growth team—spanning paid marketing, lifecycle and influencer marketing—to bring global expertise and playbooks into Germany. You’ll ensure campaigns are effectively localized, identify new opportunities specific to the German market and share insights that can shape our wider growth strategy.

This role suits someone with real startup energy: commercially minded, highly analytical and comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You’ll be able to identify what needs to be done and make it happen—whether that means building a local growth plan, briefing a campaign, launching an experiment, developing a creator partnership or digging into performance data.

What You’ll Do

Own Growth Marketing in Germany

• Develop and execute the local growth marketing strategy for Germany, focused on customer acquisition, engagement, retention and revenue.
• Own the German marketing calendar, turning product launches, sporting and cultural moments, and seasonal cycles into compelling, well-executed campaigns.
• Plan and deliver integrated campaigns across paid, CRM, lifecycle, creators, partnerships and community channels.
• Translate German customer insights and market trends into clear growth opportunities and campaign ideas.
• Work closely with the Country Lead and Account Management team to align marketing activity with seller priorities and wider commercial goals.
• Ensure global brand and product campaigns are effectively adapted for German audiences.

Drive Acquisition and Lifecycle Performance

• Partner with the central Growth team to develop locally relevant customer acquisition campaigns across paid and organic channels.
• Plan and coordinate CRM and lifecycle activity for German customers, including onboarding, activation, retention and re-engagement campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and increase conversion, repeat purchase and long-term value.
• Develop audience segments, messaging and offers based on customer behaviour and market insights.
• Run tests across channels, content, messaging and promotions, using results to continually improve performance.

Build Creators, Content and Partnerships as Growth Channels

• Identify and manage relationships with relevant German creators, communities and commercial partners.
• Develop campaigns and content that grow awareness, engagement and customer acquisition.
• Build partnerships around key sporting, cultural and collectible moments that strengthen our presence in Germany.
• Identify high-performing local content and campaign ideas that could be scaled across other markets.

Measure and Optimize Performance

• Define and track key growth metrics across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and revenue.
• Monitor campaign and channel performance, translating data into clear actions and recommendations.
• Use experimentation, customer insights and performance analysis to determine where to invest and what to improve.
• Share German market learnings with central teams to help shape wider strategy, tools and playbooks.
• Provide clear updates on performance, priorities and upcoming growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, lifecycle marketing or a broader commercial marketing role, ideally within e-commerce, marketplaces, live commerce, media or entertainment.
• Fluent German and strong working English.
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across multiple growth channels.
• Strong understanding of the customer funnel, from acquisition and activation through to engagement and retention.
• Data-comfortable, with the ability to track performance, run experiments and optimize activity based on results.
• Strong commercial instincts and an understanding of how marketing activity translates into revenue growth.
• A self-starter who can identify priorities and execute independently without needing a fully defined brief.
• Comfortable owning a broad and evolving remit in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working with creators, influencers, communities or commercial partners is a plus.
• A passion for sports, collectibles or the wider hobby is a strong advantage.
