A Role with Purpose and Impact

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Director to lead a portfolio of cloud-enabled programs supporting mission-critical systems for our federal government customers.

Dev Technology applies cloud development, Agile delivery, DevSecOps, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, and other modern technologies to help federal agencies solve complex challenges and advance their missions. The Senior Director will provide the strategic leadership, customer engagement, operational oversight, and people leadership needed to ensure the continued success and growth of a core portfolio of this work.

The Sr. Director must remain informed about cloud technologies, emerging technology trends, modern software delivery practices, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the changing federal technology landscape.

Who Thrives Here

The successful candidate is a strategic, people-centered leader who can move comfortably between executive customer conversations, portfolio performance reviews, operational problem-solving, and employee development.

This opportunity is well suited for someone who:

• Builds trusted, long-term relationships with federal customers and internal stakeholders.
• Understands how to lead through Program and Project Managers rather than personally managing every detail.
• Uses data, sound judgment, and strong communication to understand program health and address concerns early.
• Balances customer satisfaction, employee engagement, contractual performance, financial results, and long-term growth.
• Creates clarity and accountability while giving leaders room to lead.
• Develops high-performing teams through mentoring, coaching, feedback, and clear expectations.
• Understands modern technology concepts and industry direction without needing to be a hands-on technologist.
• Brings strategic vision while remaining willing to engage directly when programs need support.
• Places the success of the customer, portfolio, and team ahead of individual recognition.

The Opportunity

The Senior Director will be accountable for the overall health, performance, leadership, and strategic direction of a portfolio of federal cloud and software development programs.

This leader will oversee Program/Project Managers and other portfolio leaders who are responsible for day-to-day contract execution. The Senior Director will establish consistent portfolio governance, monitor performance across programs, strengthen customer relationships, develop leaders, address cross-program risks, and ensure that teams have the resources and organizational support needed to succeed.

The Senior Director will also serve as a senior point of contact for government customers and Dev Technology leadership.
