Job Description
This role requires expertise in a variety of work processes through a combination of job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience. Provides in-depth knowledge and expertise in various work processes, autonomously coordinates and guides team members and solves escalated problems. This Senior Administrative Assistant II acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others - but not a supervisor. They will work autonomously within the established Nielsen procedures and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Executive Support
Manage executive calendars, resolving scheduling conflicts and proactively prioritizing meetings based on strategic business goals.
Coordinate multi-timezone scheduling for internal teams and external clients.
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
Executive expense reporting
- Department Operations
Provide administrative assistance to enhance organizational efficiency
Coordinate office activities
Coordinate In-Person Meetings and Even Logistics
Manage Department Distribution lists and Records
Support Department communications
- Events and Meetings
- Coordinate Agendas, Attendees and Logistics
Assist with meeting planning include key Nielsen Client Committees
Venues and Catering
A/V Support and Materials
Room Setups
Attendee participation
Followups
- Process Leadership
Documentation
Issue Resolution
Workflow Coordination
Process Improvements where necessary
Qualifications
Requires in-depth knowledge of department processes and procedures
Gathers information to solve problems that are escalated from team members
Serves as lead for the team; allocates work and provides guidance to team members
Evaluates and communicates job-specific information
Requires breadth and/or depth of skills in a range of processes, procedures and systems
Impacts own team and closely related teams; defines and recommend process improvements
Good organizational and coordination skills are needed
4-6 years of experience
