About the Opportunity Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital Evansville is seeking a full‑time, motivated neonatologist to join our exceptional team at our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Responsibilities Care for critically ill newborns in a state‑of‑the‑art Level III NICU Utilize advanced capabilities including therapeutic hypothermia, jet ventilation, high‑frequency oscillatory ventilation, and neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA) Provide in‑house call with 5 neonatologists, transitioning to a model with overnight nurse practitioner coverage with neonatologist at-home call Collaborate with pediatric subspecialty support from hospital‑based pediatric cardiologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, and other specialists Contribute to a comprehensive OB service including MFM program, OB Clinic, and in‑house OB hospitalists Participate in QI projects and intermittent education of medical and physician assistant students Ideal Candidate Fellowship trained in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine Excellent clinical, communication, and team‑based skills Commitment to family‑centered, evidence‑based care BC/BE in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine Requirements Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted). Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
