Opportunities to Shape Practice Providing breast reconstruction services at a nearby affiliate hospital Expanding our transgender care and aesthetic practice Delivering clinical care at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center Qualifications MD or DO degree (or equivalent) Completion of an ACGME-accredited Plastic Surgery residency Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABPS Eligible for New York State medical licensure Demonstrated clinical competence and skill in clinical and didactic teaching Fellowship training in microvascular surgery desirable, but not required Academic Environment The Division has an integrated residency program with two residents per year and is actively involved in medical student education and research . The successful candidate will join a collaborative and collegial faculty dedicated to advancing the tripartite mission of clinical care, teaching, and research .
