Kinwell is a primary care organization based in Seattle, Washington looking for a Primary Care Physician to join our Denny clinic. Responsibilities Manage a panel of patients for a full spectrum primary care clinic, taking care of acute and chronic care needs. Be curious in an effort to keep more care in primary care; solve problems, answer questions, and spend quality time in service of learning on behalf of your patients. Develop a high functioning care team with the goal that every person works at the top of license and scope, developing teammate’s work in alignment with interests, good of the community and licensure. Provide patients and family members with counseling and education regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and need for follow up as appropriate during each patient visit. Collaborate with other Physicians, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals in person or by video in the best interest of patients. Perform minor outpatient procedures in accordance with credentialing/privileging policy. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Provide after‑hours care service support as part of the on‑call program. Qualifications Currently licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Washington by hire date. Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Med‑Peds. Unrestricted DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority. Ability to be credentialed under Medicare. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care strongly preferred at time of hire from American Heart Association (AHA), Red Cross, or Military Training Network (MTN) or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire. Proficient in use of the EMR, with Epic experience strongly preferred. Excellent critical thinking, flexibility, problem solving and communication skills. Interest in community outreach efforts (PR, ambassador to community partners, onboarding/mentoring for new teammates).
