Position Summary Associate Engineer, IT Laboratory Systems to support laboratory and manufacturing benchtop IT systems in a GMP‑regulated environment. Provides hands‑on technical support, troubleshooting, and operational execution to ensure system availability and compliance. Primarily supports non‑standard business hours (nights, extended hours, weekends, holidays, scheduled site shutdowns). Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for laboratory benchtop equipment and IT systems. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and IT hardware. Assist in installation and configuration of laboratory software and hardware. Ensure compliance with industry standards and laboratory protocols. Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and support activities. Assist in training laboratory personnel on IT systems and equipment. Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and IT systems. Qualifications & Experience / Required Skills 1 year of technical support experience or relevant IT certifications required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and IT systems. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work non‑standard schedules (nights, extended hours, weekends, holidays). Flexibility to support day shift as needed, including coverage during absences.
