Position Highlights Work hours: Full‑time, 40 hours per week Work shift: First shift, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday Location: 1000 Silver Street, Middletown, CT What You’ll Do Oversee nursing practice across six acute addiction units serving approximately 130 patients. Provide leadership and supervision for a nursing workforce of roughly 200 employees. Ensure safe, high‑quality nursing care for patients with high‑acuity psychiatric and addiction‑related needs. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including DPH, TJC, and other governing bodies. Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical policies and best‑practice standards. Qualifications Two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in a health care organization and/or facility or hospital nursing. Registered Nurse license in Connecticut or a multistate/compact license. Master’s degree in nursing, social or behavioral science, public health administration, health care administration, hospital administration, or a related field (required for Nurse Executive). Valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license (may be required). Ability to develop strategic plans, apply management principles, and interpret laws. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Special Requirements Incumbents may be required to travel. Licensed Registered Nurse in Connecticut OR hold a Multistate or Compact Registered Nurse license. For Nurse Executive role, a master’s degree in the specified fields is required.
