Endocrinologist needed at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health in Brooklyn, NY 11235 . Responsibilities Provide comprehensive endocrine care in both outpatient clinics and inpatient consultation settings, serving a diverse patient population. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage hormonal and metabolic disorders through thorough clinical assessment and review of medical histories. Communicate diagnoses and treatment plans clearly to patients, including medication management, lifestyle guidance, and preventive care strategies. Conduct follow-up visits to monitor progress, modify treatment plans, and maintain accurate medical documentation. Collaborate effectively with advanced practice providers and multidisciplinary care teams. Supervise and educate medical residents, endocrine fellows, and medical students through clinical teaching, conferences, and research activities. Qualifications Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine Board certified/eligible in Endocrinology Active and unrestricted NYS License Compensation & Benefits Annual Base Salary: $241,000 (Board Eligible); $246,000 (Board Certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week: $55,520. Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k) Company Contribution: employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
