Your future role at a glance Location: Austin, TX Facility: Ascension Seton Medical Center Department/Specialty: Cardiovascular Schedule: Full‑time Salary: $125,689.26 - $170,049.54 per year How you'll make an impact in this role Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies for the assigned clinical program. Develop departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the objectives of the organization. Direct all activities related to staffing including hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures. Monitor and adhere to budget. Approve and/or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management. What additional requirements you'll need Master's degree strongly preferred Procedural experience in Cath, EP, or IR labs (tech or nurse background acceptable). Minimum 2 years of Leadership experience within the cardiac realm, overseeing Cath, EP, or diagnostic cardiology services. Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary cardiac teams across multiple service lines, including Cath Lab, Structural Heart, EP Lab, Diagnostic Cardiology (Echo and Vascular Ultrasound), and Cardiac Rehab. Experience supervising direct reports such as managers, supervisors, and analysts, and coordinating services across multiple sites (Echo/Vascular oversight at SNW; Cardiac Rehab dotted‑line to ASW). Strong operational, strategic, and analytical skills in cardiac services and patient care workflows.
