What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional requirements you'll need Acute care leadership: Proven experience leading as a Director of Nursing, DON, or RN Director within an acute care hospital environment. Resource management expertise: Specialized experience in staffing, labor management, and scheduling, specifically overseeing complex areas like float pools, house supervisors, or contingent staff.
