This positionrequires on-campus presence four (4) days/week. The Director ofPost-Licensure Nursing monitors the current RN to BSN, RN to MSNBridge, post-licensure MSN, and DNP degree programs. The Directorholds a concurrent, tenure-track faculty appointment (rankcommensurate with experience).PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide leadership, management, and oversight for thepost-licensure BSN, MSN, and DNP degree programs to assure qualityand integrity of the academic program, curriculum, services, andoperations.Implement and administer the daily operation and policies forthe post-licensure degree programs.Oversee student recruitment in collaboration with the Office ofUndergraduate Admissions and the Graduate School.Monitor and maximize student progression, retention, andgraduation through the post-licensure programs.Recruit, train, develop, manage, and lead nursing faculty asneeded and directed by the Dean.Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing facultyteaching in the post-licensure degree programs.Teach up to 12 credits annually in the Nursing program.Develop graduate nursing programs in collaboration with facultyand consultants (if needed).Work collaboratively with University Advancement onpost-licensure nursing program marketing initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Management retains the right to change or add job duties at anytime. QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: A Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, Master of Science innursing with family or psychiatric nurse practitionercertification.Minimum of five years of academic leadership and/or 5 yearsteaching experience in a college/university setting.Experience advising undergraduate and graduate nursingstudents.Ability to read, understand, interpret, and implementaccreditation criteria and state agency regulations.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively withinstructional staff, academic and campus leaders, and corporateleaders.Licensure as an RN and NP in New Jersey, or eligible PROCEDURE FOR CANDIDACY Applicants should include a resume and cover letter describing howtheir background, skills and education match the needs of theUniversity.
