Location Chicago, Illinois Hospital Rush University Medical Center Department Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Work Type Full Time Position Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Overview We are seeking a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The position is primarily based at the Autism Assessment, Research, Treatment and Services (AARTS) Center, with a portion of time at Rush Behavioral Medicine’s West Campus. Candidates should have completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship and have experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism spectrum disorder populations. Clinical research experience is preferred. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences across the lifespan, including diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment. Supervise trainees in clinical settings and serve as core faculty for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program. Participate in research projects, community education, and academic presentations of clinical and research work. Pursue opportunities for administrative and research leadership development. Qualifications Medical degree Board‑certified in Psychiatry with a completed Child Psychiatry fellowship Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations Preferred: clinical research experience Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $210,000 - $308,000 Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and academic appointment commensurate with experience.
