Emergency privileges may be available for qualified physicians, allowing for a faster path to coverage. Practice & Cases Inpatient consult service only GI bleed management and acute gastrointestinal evaluations Endoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and scoping procedures required Adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient population Schedule 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. Approximately 5 to 7 days of coverage per month Ongoing call coverage needs throughout the year Average callback volume of approximately 11.5 hours daily Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified in Gastroenterology Active Colorado license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required Active DEA registration and ERCP competency required Logistics Lodging provided through approved hotel partners Airfare, rental car, and mileage reimbursement available We'd be happy to discuss upcoming call coverage blocks and whether this advanced GI schedule aligns with your availability.
