Spine Neurosurgeon The successful candidate will practice at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. The role is a full-service neurosurgery practice with general neurosurgery and spine care. The candidate will also help expand a Level-2 neuro-trauma service over the next few years in connection with tertiary neurosurgical services at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Additional training in neuro-trauma or critical-care is advantageous. Responsibilities Provide general neurosurgery and spinal care at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital . Expand and support a Level-2 neuro-trauma service linked to Ruby Memorial Hospital. Participate in ongoing support for trauma and critical-care services. Qualifications MD, DO, or foreign equivalent medical degree. Eligible for state medical licensure in West Virginia. Completed a neurosurgery residency program. Board-eligible or board-certified in neurosurgery (BE/BC). All qualifications must be met by time of appointment. Employment Details Schedule: 40 hours per week. Shift: (Not specified).
