Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) brings together two award‑winning health systems in Washington State, CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason Medical Center, into one integrated health system with the most patient access points in western Washington. We provide the safest and highest quality of care through a team of expert, compassionate clinicians at 11 hospitals and nearly 300 sites across the Puget Sound region. Per Diem Interventional Cardiologist – practice at our Federal Way and Auburn locations. This Cardiologist will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group, a multi‑specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State. Opportunity Highlights Center for Cardiovascular Health : The Center possesses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesiologists. The program performs over 1,100 open‑heart surgeries, 2,400 PCIs, and 2,000 ablations annually, serving more than 200,000 patients in cardiology clinics and inpatient services across 8 hospitals. Compensation : $261.00 per hour. On‑call compensation: $1,025.00 per 24‑hour call. Job Requirements BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology. Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington. Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice. BLS required.
