Position Overview Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center - Shreveport are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to expand its full-time clinical faculty. Qualifications Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology and eligible for a Louisiana medical license. Responsibilities Patient care Resident education Medical student education Clinical duties and responsibilities rotate among our tertiary Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions. Equipment & Training Several da Vinci surgical systems, including a dual-console unit, are available for patient care and resident training. Academic Rank & Salary Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful applicant will join several full-time faculty members in a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program. Institutional Context Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, in conjunction with Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary, is the only major academic medical center in the area and receives patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75-100 miles, serving a population of approximately 1.5 million people.
