Overview Laboratory Medical Director – Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Job ID: Location Opportunity Criteria • Specialty: Pathology • Profession: Physician (MD, DO, Resident) Responsibilities Lead the pathology laboratory at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations. Provide leadership for staff and plan, organize, and direct laboratory activities with the assistance of managers, supervisors, and senior technologists. Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, collaborating closely with physicians and other health care providers. Provide clinical direction to the laboratory, including laboratory oversight, test validation, and maintenance of College of American Pathologists accreditation; experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory is desirable. As a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consult with clinical staff and participate in tumor boards. Perform general pathology service for a community hospital; subspecialty expertise in cytopathology is desirable. Qualifications MD, DO, or MBBS required with board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP.
