Overview Physicians will own and operate an independent medical practice in a preferred market, while MedCBO supplies non‑clinical business and operational support. MedCBO does not direct patient care or clinical decisions. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in an appropriate specialty. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is not a salary; it is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
