Summary Provides strategic and operational leadership for the primary care and urgent care service lines, overseeing direct clinical and operational services across Summa Health System. Responsible for implementing and managing strategic initiatives to expand and enhance primary care and urgent care services to achieve goals in clinical care, operations, quality, finance, employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and growth, while ensuring efficient resource management. Directs operations and participates in strategic planning for employed practice models, leading credentialing activities and ensuring compliance with education, policy, legal, and regulatory requirements. Drives financial success through business development, marketing, and staffing to meet timelines and budgets. Responsibilities Previous experience managing provider practices across multiple sites needed Prior experience supporting clinical teams including providers with daily operations Experienced change management and team engagement leader needed Travel required among offices and urgent care locations Minimum Qualifications Formal Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or related field preferred Experience and Training Required: Five (5) years of experience in healthcare administration required; Leadership in ambulatory care or clinical setting preferred Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to work within a matrixed healthcare environment; Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians, education coordinators, medical directors, service line leaders, and administrative staff; Ability to guide the efforts of others to achieve strategic objectives and financial goals; Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity Level of Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
