Supervise and teach family medicine and internal medicine residents on scheduled rotations. Collaborate with providers, including nurse practitioners. Maintain all required medical licenses (California Medical Board, DEA) and submit documentation for credentialing every three years. Adhere to federal and state regulations for billing reimbursement (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Maintain and update medical records in SJGH’s electronic system, including using telehealth tools. Schedule appointments, ensure timely documentation, and participate in peer reviews. Evaluate and treat individuals with mental health and co-occurring disorders; prescribe medications. Follow Medi-Cal Medication Formulary, Black Box warning procedures, and treatment authorization protocols. Maintain at least 60% productivity for patient care services and ensure accurate billing documentation. Follow SJGH Clinic Model for service delivery, including managing appointments and caseloads.
