Description The Family Nurse Practitioner (Endocrinology) will diagnose, treat, and manage disorders of the endocrine system, which include the thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, pituitary and hypothalamus. Consults with supervising physician and abides by appropriate clinical protocols. Reports to the Director of Specialty Care / FNP related to the delivery of medical care for patients with endocrinology conditions. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree from accredited university in a Nurse Practitioner Program Board Certified AANP, ANCC or related required Minimum 2 years' experience in Adult Medicine, Endocrinology, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Strong experience with EMR/EMR systems Must possess a current unrestricted license to practice as a mid-level (NP/PA) in the State of Texas Annual continuing medical education as required by board specialty Must be registered and have current DEA
