Job Summary Austin Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (AVES) in Austin, TX is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist will provide outstanding care while collaborating with all specialties in a rapidly growing emergency and specialty hospital. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee anesthesia for emergency and elective cases. Collaborate with surgeons, internists, oncologists, neurologists and other specialists to ensure patient safety. Manage sedation protocols and peri‑operative monitoring. Contribute to evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with residency in Anesthesiology or equivalent experience. Board‑certified or equivalent in veterinary anesthesia. Strong multi‑tasking, self‑motivation, efficient workflow. Excellent communication and client service skills. Ability to build long‑lasting relationships within the veterinary community.
