Develop comprehensive project charters, timelines, workplans, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables. Advises reporting-area leadership on the development and implementation of process improvements. 2. Plans, develops, and implements area-related and otherwise affiliated strategic initiatives. Advises the reporting area and executive-level staff concerning the development and implementation of affiliated strategic initiatives. 3. Coordinates cross-functional teams across campuses, Academic Affairs departments, and system offices. 4. Supports division-wide strategic projects and initiatives from concept through implementation and closure. 5. Manages and develops project plans and presentations using a professional writing style to track and convey progress on project deliverables; Creates and presents reports to meet project deliverables and tracking requirements. 6. Prepares executive dashboards, status reports, briefing materials, and presentations for senior leadership. 7. Utilizes project management software platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Planner, or equivalent tools to monitor progress and maintain visibility. 8. Analyzes project goals, schedules deadlines for project completion, and develops action plans and processes for project completion from inception to evaluation. 9. Contributes to the monitoring of project budgets as needed by monitoring expenditures and helping ensure spending aligns with approved funding and guidelines. 10. Identifies trends, develops insights, and delivers actionable recommendations to drive business decisions within projects. 11. Identifies project risks, delays, resource constraints, and operational barriers; recommends mitigation strategies. 12. Uses query functions in iStar and other reporting instruments to provide data in useful formats for complete cost analyses, expense projections, and trend reports to provide to leadership. Conducts research, collects data, and creates a variety of reports, presentations, correspondences, and communications (including hard copy and digital documents). Designs and develops queries, basic flow charts, and reports from PeopleSoft within Microsoft Office. 13. Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Proficient in the use of computers and related software for word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and project management platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, or similar systems. • Excellent decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to assess risks, resolve barriers, and advance project outcomes. • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive reports, presentations, dashboards, and briefing materials. • Strong initiative, analytical skills, and knowledge of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and implementation monitoring. • Proven ability to handle confidential information and work autonomously. • Strong attention to accuracy and detail. • Ability to prepare and analyze reports. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, build consensus, and influence outcomes without direct authority. • High level of customer service. • Working knowledge of Power BI, dashboards, reporting tools, or similar business intelligence systems.
