Job Summary: As a Per Diem Hospitalist at Cottage Hospital, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients. You'll work closely with medical staff, hospital departments, patients, and their families to ensure efficient, comprehensive treatment in a supportive environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide inpatient care, managing a variety of medical conditions. Collaborate with other hospital departments and medical staff to coordinate patient care. Accurately document patient care activities in medical records, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including EMTALA. Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and core measures compliance. Accurately code and document services to reflect the level of care provided. Maintain high standards of patient satisfaction and work towards enhancing patient experiences. Adhere to Cottage Hospital's mission, vision, and values, acting as an ambassador both within and outside the hospital. Qualifications Experience Required Successful completion of an accredited medical school program. Current medical license through BOM in the State of New Hampshire, active DEA number/certification Preferred Previous experience in an acute care, or function specific setting is preferred.
