Job Summary Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Administrator to oversee the nursing program in an approved long‑term care facility. The role ensures regulatory compliance, staff performance, quality and safety, and operational effectiveness. Responsibilities Interpret policies and objectives of nursing service for staff and community groups. Monitor operations of nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Schedule staff, conduct performance reviews, and oversee workforce development. Provide nursing care to residents as needed and coordinate clinical programs. Develop and implement marketing activities, community events, and media initiatives. Manage day‑to‑day operations of the facility, including resident care quality, care management, environment, safety, and budget constraints. Delegate and coordinate clinical, operational, and managerial activities to achieve department objectives. Lead the development and execution of clinical programs, policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure integration and adherence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing required; graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Minimum five years of nursing experience. Housing or assisted‑living experience helpful. Thorough knowledge of nursing practice act, standards of nursing care, and administrative and managerial techniques. Unencumbered RN license with the state board of nursing where the practice occurs (multistate licensure acceptable for Nurse Licensure Compact states).
